The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose a marginal 13 points, or 0.1 percent, to 16,752, on Monday, a day ahead of the Reserve Bank's monetary policy review. But the Nifty at the National Stock Exchange declined 2 points, to 5,046.Stock markets in China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore were closed for a holiday. The Japanese market ended flat.
