Rising for the second straight session, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange gained 70 points, or 0.4 per cent, to 17,266, amid positive global cues, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange added 22 points, or 0.4 percent, to 5,179. Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, and South Korea gained between 1 percent and 2 percent.
