The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex recovered by over 120 points, 0.69 per cent, in the opening trade today on fresh capital inflows from foreign funds amid moderate gains in global markets.The 30-share index, which had lost 167.66 points in the previous session, recovered by 120.22 points to 17,530.79 points in the opening trade. The wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty also rose by 48.40 points, or 0.92 per cent, to 5243.60 points. Meanwhile, the US Dow Jones Industrial average ended 0.41 per cent higher in the previous session, while the Hong Kong's Hang Seng index was up 1.1 per cent in the morning trade today.
