The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose 76 points, or 0.4 percent, to 17,849, amid easing inflation, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange gained 26 points, or 0.5 percent, to 5,416.Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea ended mixed.
