The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose by 57 points in afternoon deals on buying in realty, consumer urable, FMCG and metal sectors despite selling in IT, power and auto sectors. The 30 share index which gained 16 points in its previous session moved 57 points up to trade at 19,860 when reports last came in. The National Stock Exchange index Nifty also inched up by 15 points to 5,866 a short while ago.Life returns to normal in Muzaffarnagar; Minorities Comm chief to visit today In Uttar Pradesh, life returned to normal in Muzaffarnagar as the city remained peaceful. No untoward incident has been reported after curfew was completely lifted. More than 40,000 people have taken shelter in relief camps.
