The key domestic indices ended in green while the cues from the global share markets were mostly positive. The BSE Sensex rose 304 points, or 0.44 percent, to close at 69,826. The NSE Nifty gained 68 points, or 0.33 percent, and closed at 20,969.
 
In the forex market, Indian rupee ended at 83 rupees and 38 paise against the US dollar on Friday.
 
In intra-day trading, the Gold in Multi Commodity Exchange for the February contract is trading at 62,509 rupees per 10 gram. Silver for the March contract was trading at 74,625 rupees per kg when reports last came in.
 
In global oil market intra-day trade, Brent Crude is trading at 75 dollars and 16 cents per barrel and WTI Crude is trading at 70 dollars and 32 cents per barrel when reports last came in.
