The BSE benchmark Sensex recovered early losses and gained 6 points during noon. The 30-share barometer declined by 33 points in early trade today as funds and retail investors engaged in booking-profit amid a weak trend in Asian markets. But later it gained 6 points and was trading at 18871 when report last came in.Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty also recovered the early losses but still was down by 8 point to 5,696.In the Asian region, Japan's Nikkei Index was down 1.13 per cent, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng index slightly up 0.12 per cent in early trade.
