Recovering losses of the morning session, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange was up by 41 points during late morning deals.The 30-share barometer which was down 60 points in early trade,recovered losses and was trading in the green at 18,722 when reports last came in.Similarly, the Nifty at the National Stock Exchange also recovered its initial losses and was up 6 points at 5,640.In the Asian region, Hong Kong's Hang Seng index shed 0.19 per cent, while Japan's Nikkei fell 0.67 per cent in early trade today. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 0.44 per cent lower in yesterday's trade.

Sensex recovers; up 41 points in late morning trade
