Sensex recovers in noon trade

The markets were choppy on Tuesday with the Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex falling by over 175 points, in early trade on fresh spell of selling by funds.Sensex later recovered some points and was trading 19.30 points down at 16338.66 when news last came in.The wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty, which declined by 50.50 points in morning trade, however was trading 10.55 points up at 4892.60 at the same time. Broker's said sentiments on the domestic bourses were dampened by weak trend in global markets, triggering selling by funds as well as retail investors.
