Recovering some of its ground, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange fell 40 points to 20,684 points, a short while ago. Earlier, it was trading at 65 points down in morning deals.In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty traded 17 points lower at 6,146. In the Asian region, Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell by 0.34 per cent, while the Japan's Nikkei by 1.20 per cent in early trade today. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 0.62 per cent higher yesterday.
