Recovering from initial losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose 21 points, or 0.1 percent, to 19,274 in afternoon deals, a short while ago. Earlier in the morning, however, the Sensex had opened with a loss 40 points, or 0.2 per cent, at 19,213, as investors booked profits after two sessions of gains. The Sensex had gained nearly 375 points in the previous two sessions.Key stock indices in Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea were trading mixed, today. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 0.3 per cent higher yesterday.
