The Sensex recovered by nearly 82 points in opening trade today on emergence of buying by foreign funds in blue-chips, driven by recovery on Asian bourses. The 30-share index, which had lost 192 points in the previous session, bounced back by 82 points, or 0.46 per cent, to 17,591 points. All the sectoral indices were trading in the positive. Likewise, the wide-based National Stock Exchange's Nifty rose by 23.05 points, or 0.43, to 5,274 points.
