Sensex recovers by 29 points in late morning deals

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange recovered by 29 points to 18,891 in late morning deals today on fresh buying mainly in capital goods, power, metal, consumer durables and IT sectors on the back of higher Asian cues despite capital outflows from funds. Earlier, the 30-share barometer rose by 48 points in the opening deal. The index had lost 291 points in the previous session to touch three-month low.The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange moved up by 10 points, to 5,705.
