The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange recovered by 61 points to 18,781 in late morning trade. Earlier, the 30-share index fell by 79 points as shares of banking, consumer durable, healthcare, FMCG and metal sectors declined on sustained selling pressure.The Nifty at the wide-based National Stock Exchange declined by 17 points, to 5, 670.
