Sensex reclaims 32,000 mark; rupee ends weaker against dollar

At the domestic stock markets, the Sensex reclaimed the 32,000 mark, on Tuesday, but the rupee ended weaker against the dollar. AIR correspondent reports that Rising for the fourth straight session, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange surged 277 points, or 0.9 percent, to regain the 32,000-mark, and close at 32,159. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange jumped 87 points, to 10,093. But at the forex market, the rupee depreciated 11 paise, to 64.04 against the dollar. Gold declined 150 rupees, to 30,850 rupees per ten grams in Delhi. And Brent crude oil futures fell 35 cents, to 53.49 dollars per barrel.
