The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex gained 57.54 points in afternoon session to trade at 17,182.30 a short while from now. Sensex earlier fell by 66 points in morning trade. Nifty that had declined by 20.85 points in opening trade was trading at 21 points higher at 5132 points.
