Extending its gains for the third straight day, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rallied 130 points, or 0.8 percent, to close at a 19-month high of 17,361, on Thursday, amid easing food inflation and positive global cues. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 34 points or 0.7 per cent, to also end at a 19-month high, at 5,178. Stock markets in Japan, China, South Korea and Hong Kong rose between 1 percent and 2.5 percent.
