Recovering from initial weakness, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange had gained a modest 12 points, or 0.1 pecent, to 20,970 a short while ago. Earlier in the morning, the Sensex had fallen 26 points, or 0.1 per cent, to 20,932 on mild profit-booking by investors. Key stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore were trading mixed, today, amid expectations that the US Federal Reserve could soon start tapering its stimulus. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average had ended 0.4 per cent lower in yesterday's trade.
