Immediately after the announcement of the quarterly credit policy review, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange plunged 300 points. But the Sensex has since recovered considerably, and stood 62 points, or 0.4 percent in the red, at 16,245, a short while ago. Earlier, in the morning, the Sensex had opened 182 points in the red, ahead of the RBI's credit policy announcement.
