Falling for the second straight session, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange lost 264 points – its biggest single-day loss in two weeks – to 17,222, on continued selling by funds, amid declining Asian markets, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange dropped 89 points, or 1.7 per cent, to 5,234.Stock markets in Japan, China, Singapore and South Korea lost between 1 per cent and 1.5 per cent.
