The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose 113 points, or 0.6 percent, to 19,723 in early trade, today, on fresh buying by funds. Later, the Sensex pared its gains, to stand a more modest 63 points, or 0.3 per cent in the green, at 19,673 in afternoon trade, a short while ago. The Sensex had lost over 600 points in the previous two trading sessions.But stock markets in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore and South Korea had declined between 0.1 percent and 1.2 percent, today. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average had ended 0.9 per cent higher in yesterday's session .
