The BSE benchmark Sensex which lost 41 points in the previous session on Monday, recovered by 124 points, or 0.74 per cent, to 16,929 in opening trade.In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index moved up by 23 points, or 0.47 percent, to 5,062.In Asia, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index was up 0.77 percent, while Japan's Nikkei Index rose by 0.72 per cent in morning trade today. The US Dow Jones Industrial average ended 0.43 per cent higher in yesterday's trade.
