The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex today opened higher by 65 points on buying by funds and retail investors.The sensex was trading at 18271, down by 14 points when reports last came in. The wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty was trading at 5479, down by 5 points.
