The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex today opened higher by 65 points on buying by funds and retail investors. The sensex was trading at 18285, up by over 67 points when reports last came in. The wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty also gained 5484, up by 16 points.
