BSE Sensex and  Nifty open on a flat note ahead of RBI policy meet outcome. The BSE Sensex opened 51.86 points or 0.15%  up at 34955. Nifty was also up 13 points or 0.12% at 10606 in the early trade today. 

At the foreign exchange market, the rupee strengthened by 11 paise to 67 rupees 3 paise against the dollar in early trade.
