Resuming its upward climb, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange gained 134 points, or 0(point)4 percent, to a fresh record closing high of 30,322, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 45 points, to also end at a new lifetime peak of 9,445.
