The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange stood 74 points, or 0.4 percent in negative territory, at 20,087 in afternoon trade, amid volatility, a short while ago. Earlier in the morning, the Sensex had opened with a loss of 77 points, or 0.4 per cent, at 20,084, on profit-booking by investors. The Sensex had advanced 487 points in the last three trading sessions.But stock markets in Japan, China, Taiwan, Indonesia and South Korea had added between 0.2 percent and 1 percent, today. The US Dow Jones had gained 0.7 per cent, to end at a fresh record high in yesterday's trade.
