The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange lost 54 points, or 0.3 per cent, to 18,761 in opening trade, today, on fresh selling by investors, amid a mixed trend on the other Asian bourses. Afterwards, the Sensex lost some more ground, and stood 101 points, or 0.5 percent in negative territory, at 18,714, in volatile trade, a short while ago. Stock markets in Japan, China, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea were trading mixed, today, as investors remained wary about Europe's sovereign debt problems.
