BSE benchmark Sensex was down by nearly 79 points during the noon trade. The 30-share barometer which gained over 32 points in early trade today, lost it all early gains and was down by 79 points or .43% at 18,439.Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty also lost its early morning gains and was down by 21 points to 5606 during noon.
