The Sensex lost early gains and was trading 30 points in the positive territory at 17, 133 in afternoon deals a short while ago. The Sensex which had recovered by over 130 points,in its opening session, shed some points in its later session and was trading 64 points in green at 17,167 in late morning deals. The rise was attributed to fresh buying by funds and retail investors, amid a firming trend at Asian markets. All sectoral indices, led by consumer durables and capital goods, were trading in the positive zone with gains up to 0.77 per cent.
