The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange dropped 36 points, or 0.2 percent, to 19,290 in afternoon trade, a short while ago. Earlier in the morning, the Sensex had opened 80 points, or 0.4 percent in negative territory, at 19,246 on profit-booking by investors, after two days of gains. Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and South Korea were trading mixed, today.
