The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange jumped 162 points, or 0.8 per cent, to close at 19,417, on Wednesday on renewed buying ahead of the monthly expiry in the derivatives segment, amid largely positive regional markets. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 50 points, or 0.9 percent, to 5,906.Stock markets in Japan, China, and Singapore rose between 0.3 percent and 1.5 percent.
