The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange declined 25 points, or 0.1 per cent, to 19,667 in early trade, today, as funds andretail investors booked profits after recent gains, amid a weak trend in the global markets. Later, the Sensex remained weak, and stood 24 points, or 0.1 per cent in the red, at 19,668, in afternoon trade, a short while ago. Key stock indices in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and South Korea were down by between 0.2 percent and 0.9 percent, today. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average had ended 0.4 per cent lower in yesterday's trade.
