Sensex has hit a 2 year high. It shot up by 133 points or 0.68 today to settle at 19,714 points, its highest closing since January 6, 2011.The Nifty breached the 6,000 for the first time since January 2011 during the session but slipped back to close at 5,993 points, gaining 42 points, or 0.71 per cent.The trend followed increased buying in consumer durables and capital goods stocks amid persistent capital inflows after the US Congress approved a deal to avert "fiscal cliff".
