Regaining lost grounds, the BSE Sensex recovered by over 84 points in the late morning trade due to fresh buying mainly in IT, Teck, Banking and Capital Goods counters on persistent capital inflows from foreign funds. Sensex fell by 31 points to 20,498 in early trade. It had surged 256 points to close 20,529 on Friday.Nifty also moved up by 21 points to 6,117 points a shortwhile ago.Asian stocks fell in their early trade as US lawmakers struggled over an accord to raise the nation's debt limit and restore government operations. Key benchmark indices in Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan fell between 0.03 per cent to 0.7 per cent. China's Shanghai Composite rose 0.46 per cent. Stock markets in Japan, Indonesia and Hong Kong were closed for holidays
