The BSE Sensex rose over 48 points in early trade today on fresh buying by funds and retailers after Finance Minister P Chidambaram exuded confidence that the country's current account deficit will be contained below 60 billion US Dollars in the current financial year.The 30-share barometer gained over 48 points, to over 21,023. The index had lost nearly 265 points in the previous session.Similarly, the broad-based National Stock Exchange Nifty moved up by over 16 points, to nearly 6,270.
