Maintaining the upward trend, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange was trading over 200 points in the positive territory in afternoon trade, a short while ago.The 30-share Sensex, which rose by 90 points in opening trade, was trading 219 points at 15,958 when reports last came in.The rise was on the back of selective buying in blue-chips, amid covering up of pending short positions by speculators.The Sensex had lost 75 points in the previous session on Friday.In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index was trading 59 points in the green at 4,773.In Asia, Japan's Nikkei Index rose by 1.37 per cent in morning trade today, while the US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 1.02 per cent higher in Friday trade.
