The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange had rallied 175 points, or 1 percent, to 18,410 in afternoon trade, a short while ago. Earlier in the morning, the Sensex had climbed 161 points, or 0.9 percent, to 18,396, on fresh buying by funds and retail investors in select stocks. Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore were trading mixed, today. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average had ended 0.2 per cent higher in yesterday's trade.
