Recovering from initial losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange stood 123 points, or 0.7 percent in positive territory, at 18,436 in afternoon trade, a short while ago.Earlier in the morning, however, the Sensex had opened with a loss of 62 points, or 0.3 per cent, at 18,251, as funds and retail investors booked profits after yesterday's strong gains.Stock markets in Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Singapore were trading mixed, today. The US Dow Jones had ended 0.4 per cent higher in yesterday's trade.
