The BSE benchmark index Sensex today gained nearly 46 points in early trade The 30-share index, which had gained 42.81 points on Tuesday, rose further by 45.89 points, or 0.26 per cent to 17,362.07.The wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index moved up by 9.20 points, or 0.17 per cent, to 5,284.05.
