The BSE benchmark Sensex gained nearly 100 points during noon and was trading at 18,960 when report last came in. The 30-share barometer which opened on low note, recovered the early losses and was up by 100 points.Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty also recovered the early losses and was trading at 5725 with 21 points up.In the Asian region, Japan's Nikkei Index was down 1.13 per cent, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng index slightly up 0.12 per cent in early trade.
