The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose 128 points, or 0.7 per cent, to 19,272 in early trade, today, on continued buying by funds, amid rising regional bourses. Later, the Sensex remained firm, and stood 126 points, or 0.7 percent in the green, at 19,270 in afternoon trade, a short while ago. The 30-share Sensex had gained 265 points yesterday.Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, Singapore and South Korea had gained between 0.3 percent and 1.8 percent, today, amid signs ofcontinuing economic recovery and globally accommodative monetary conditions.
