Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange gained 99 points in afternoon trade. The 30-share barometer which had rose by 82 points in its previous session, surged 99 points to 16,251 when reports last came in.In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty, moved up by 31 points to 4,922 a short while ago.
