The Sensex at the Bombay Stopck Exchange gained 94 points to 19,768 in late morning deals today. Earlier Sensex opened nearly 90 points up on sustained buying by funds and retail investors mainly in oil and gas, power, realty and IT sector stocks. Rising for the second straight session, the 30-share barometer rose to 19,763.The wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty rose nearly 32 points, to 6,003.
