Extending its winning streak for the fifth straight session, the sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange gained 86 points, or 0.5 percent, to an over two-week closing high of 17,853, on Tuesday, amid hopes of a rate cut by the Reserve Bank. The Sensex had climbed 455 points in the previous four trading sessions.The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 27 points, or 0.5 percent, to 5,390.Stock markets in Japan, China, South Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore ended mixed.
