The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange today recovered by 72 points to 18,384 in late afternoon trade. The rise is attributed to fresh buying in consumer durable, capital goods, auto, realty and banking counters on firm Asian cues. Earlier, the 30 share index, gained 36 points in late early trade. The Nifty, at the National Stock Exchange also moved up by 20 points to 5,428.
