The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange trimmed initial gains but was still quoted 54 points up at 21,086 in the afternoon trade.The 30-Share index rose 47 points in its previous session. The Sensex had lost 68 points in the previous session on Tuesday. The market remained closed yesterday on account of "Christmas".The 50-share Nifty also gained 18 points to 6,286 a short while ago.
