The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange today gained 50 points to 18,451 in late afternoon trade a short while ago on fresh buying mainly in realty, IT, tech, healthcare and consumer durable sectors on the back of higher global cues. Earlier, the 30 share Barometer gained 194 points.The Nifty, at the National Stock Exchange gained by 8 points to 5,417.
