The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange was trading 49 points in the positive territory at 18,049 a short while ago . Earlier the Sensex rose for the seventh day in a row by adding 43 points in early trade today on sustained buying by funds and retailers amid a firm trend in Asian markets. The 30-share barometer, which had gained over 688 points in the past six sessions, added 42 points, to 18,024 . In a Similar Fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty was up by 13 points to 5,444.
