The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange trimmed initial gains but was still quoted 47 points up at 21,079 in the late morning trade. Firm Asian cues also gave a boost to the market with consumer durables, auto, power, capital goods and realtysector stocks trading up on fresh buying support from operators.The 30-Share Index rose by 54 points in early trade today. The Sensex had lost 68 points in the previous session on Tuesday. The market remained closed yesterday on account of "Christmas".The 50-share Nifty also moved 16 points up to 6,284 a short while ago.
